Facial massage after applying Botox or fillers

After applying Botox or fillers, there are several vital restrictions you as the patient must follow, such as avoiding facialmassage.

Massage improves local blood supply, makes the skin elastic, smooth, strengthens and tightens the muscles.

With the help of massage, after a few procedures, the muscles become toned but resume their normal functions.

Note that Botox and fillers fulfil the complete opposite; freeze the muscles and halt their movement.

Thus, for the first 2️⃣ weeks, avoiding the area where Botox was injected makes total sense. Avoid scrubs and rubbing movements when applying skincare to the face.

However, if your eyelids suddenly droop, facial massage is recommended, but only by the hands of a specialist, as you need to choose the right technique and the force of pressure.

The appearance of oedema and hematomas after Botox can be lessened with the help of massage.

Is the sauna good for your skin?

Please note that not everyone can use the sauna, so consult your personal dermatologist or cosmetologist AND doctor before going.

Skin conditions like:

-Acne

-Rosacea

As well as medical conditions like:

🔷Uncontrolled high blood pressure

🔷Diabetes

🔷Heart failure

🔷Abnormal heart rhythm

🔷Unstable angina

Could be affected negatively, so always double-check.

It is better to be safe than sorry.

So, what benefits does visiting the sauna give your skin directly and indirectly?

✅Helps increase circulation

✅Reduces Stress Levels

✅Sweat Cleanses the Skin (toxins)

✅Fights Infection

✅Enhances Collagen Production (antiaging)

✅Alleviates some skin conditions

If used correctly, the sauna can be a wonderful addition to your skincare routine and general health.

If you visit the sauna after a gym session, make sure your heart rate has calmed down first and you have washed off the sweat that has accumulated post-exercise.

Then, ensure that each session lasts no more than 20 min and make sure to shower after visiting a sauna (not doing so could lead to breakouts).

How should you take care of your skin after an 💋 evening glam?

Ensure you wash off your makeup in several stages.

1️⃣Cleanse with micellar water.

2️⃣Then wash it off with plain water, making sure that nothing is left on your skin.

3️⃣Next, apply soothing skin milk, which can include rose water or green tea.

4️⃣Remember that the cleanser should not stay on your skin, be sure to wash everything off with water, and then apply your skincare.

One night, you might come home late, and simply have no energy to wash off the makeup. You may think: "Oh, for once, I'll wash it off tomorrow."

⚠️ BUT NO! THAT'S A TERRIFYING PROSPECT FOR YOUR SKIN ! ⚠️⠀

Don't be lazy!

📌You can always make a green tea compress to moisturise the skin after an eventful or stressful evening.

📌If there is itching, then I would recommend you take an antihistamine. If this does not help and the itch only increases, then you must go and see a doctor.

What are the skin care tips for dealing with Maskne.

1️⃣ Ensure that if you use disposable masks - YOU DISPOSE OF THEM & CUT THE STRAPS OFF.

These masks are 'technically' better for your skin because they are more breathable but they're not THAT much better; let alone eco-friendly.

You're still covering your face after all. I mainly recommend using these masks if you're in the medical field.

2️⃣ Buy at least 3 non-disposable masks and wash them DAILY. Treat your masks like you would your underwear - keep them clean and hygienic.

I have found that cotton and other porous materials are less forgiving to breakouts, so ensure you WASH your masks.

While other fabrics, like silk and tencel, help reduce friction. At the end of the day, it is your personal choice. Find what works best for you.

3️⃣ Regular cleansing of your face is also important. If you have sensitive skin or you just want to avoid irritation, use a gentle cleanser to wash your face thoroughly every day.

4️⃣ Keep your skin hydrated! This is because dry skin can lead to irritation and acne breakouts, which is why your skin needs to be cleansed daily, especially after being covered by a mask.

5️⃣ Try to wear as little make-up as possible. Clogged pores, in addition to the mask, are a recipe for disaster. Perhaps it's time for you to try that BB cream or tinted moisturiser.

Coloring your eyebrows

Broad eyebrows is the most natural eyebrow form and has been popular among women for several years now.

Perfectly shaped, bright and vibrant brows can truly emphasize the face, highlight the eyes and attract the attention of other people. Some women resort to self-dying their eyebrows at home or visit a beauty parlor.

And yet, how often can you dye your eyebrows?

Not often at all is the answer, as it would be very harmful to the condition of the hair and skin on the face.

Remember that eyebrow dye is a product of chemicals, which can provoke allergic reactions Frequent exposure to the chemical dye will cause hair loss and the brow ridges begin to thin out.

Based on the above, we recommend you carry out the procedure no more than once every 30 days.

This time gap is required to give the skin and hairline a full recovery.

What should you not find in facial cosmetics❓

Today we have prepared a list of harmful components that should not be included in cosmetics.

Save the post to your bookmarks and check this mini-memo when purchasing each new product.

🌱 Mineral oil is a synthetic drug that is not dangerous, but remains on the skin like a film that is difficult to wash off.

It retains moisture and clogs the pores, having a negative effect on the skin’s condition.

🌱 Lanolin is an emulsifier that also retains moisture and is not completely safe for sensitive skin.

🌱 Propylene glycol is a solvent and preservative, little toxic. It is allowed in cosmetics in a limited dosage. Inside the body, propylene glycol breaks down into safe components.

🌱 Petrolatum is a moisturizer that can protect your skin from the harmful environment, but can also clog pores.

🌱 Glycerin is a moisturizer that should not be applied to damaged skin!

🌱 Cocoa Butter can cause early aging due to the fact that it removes the liquid!

Fragrance

Some chemicals can irritate and harm your skin. They can also affect your overall health, especially if you have sensitive skin.

Fragrance (also called perfume) is one of these types of chemicals and can be extremely harmful to your skin. It is used in nearly 50% of beauty products and has a LOT OF UNKNOWN TOXIC CHEMICALS.

What is it?

Simply put, fragrance is a blend of aromatic extracts from both natural and synthetic ingredients.

📌Fragrance can cause irritation

📌Have toxic hormonal effects

📌May even cause cancer

If you prefer fragrance in your products, please try to find natural fragrances that are chemical-free.

Remember, not all chemicals are harmful, some help keep beauty products safe from bacteria and/or help other ingredients perform better.
