Client services and chart information are confidential. Written authorization is required from you to release any information. It compulsory to complete the consultation form before the visit. Then, you will have a appointment with your therapist to discuss your session. Therapeutic therapists do not diagnose illness, disease, any physical or mental disorder, nor do they prescribe medical treatment, pharmaceuticals, or perform joint mobilization. TA therapy is not a substitute for medical examination or diagnosis, and it is recommended that a physician be seen for that service. At any time the patient feels pain or discomfort during the session, he/she should immediately inform the therapist so they adjust. The pertinent medical conditions should be stated, and the therapist should be updated of any changes in client’s health status. The failure to do so may post a threat to his/her health and physical well being. TA Therapy and client’s therapist should be hold harmless from any liability whatsoever arising from failure on client’s part.
Inappropriate behaviour will not be tolerated and may be prosecuted to the full extent of the law.
COVID-19 pandemic appointment policy

Taya Amber Clinic always does a patch test 24hrs prior to the treatment. The test involves putting a tiny amount of the mixed dye (or product) onto the skin out of sight. This is to ensure that you are not allergic to any of the ingredients used in the products.
*IPL patch test is required 14 days before the treatment.
Course of treatments
A course of 10 treatments is recommended, and then maintenance every 4-6 weeks after. If booking a course of treatments, it is advised that the total course is booked to ensure continuity and an effective result.
To secure your booking and discount, the full price is payable upfront on all packages. However, during COVID-19 pandemic is not required on multiples of 10 treatments / courses of treatments. Instead, Loyalty cards are issued to secure your discount.
If you are on a course of treatment and fail to show up, you will lose that particular treatment in the course. Purchased courses are non-refundable and non-transferable. All treatments which are purchased as a course must be paid for in full in advance of the first treatment.
All treatments must be taken or booked within 6 months of the date of purchase; any treatments left un-taken or un-booked after 6 months will be forfeited. Please be aware, that during COVID-19 pandemic and lockdowns the treatments cannot be purchased in advance and the treatments packages sale is suspended.
Aftercare and Results
If you don’t follow a recommended treatment course and or aftercare, results may not be gained or be as visible and Taya Amber Clinic cannot be held responsible. Results will vary from individual to individual and cannot be guaranteed. Results are affected by your diet and lifestyle and any medical conditions that you may have.
All patients are required to provide contact details; including address, telephone and email in order to secure an appointment.
All clients will complete a medical history form at their first appointment. This is necessary information, to be considered at the consultation, and for the treatment planning process.
It is the client’s responsibility to ensure that she/he provides Taya Amber Clinic with all relevant medical history including regarding pre-existing medical conditions, prior to each treatment.
The client agrees to comply with all instructions and/or recommendations given to them by or on behalf of Taya Amber Clinic regarding the care of a treated area.
All information will be treated as confidential and protected in accordance with Data Protection legislation.
Child Policy (Under 18s)
In line with the requirements of the Care Quality Commission, we cannot treat persons under the age 18 or allow such persons into our clinics – for their own safety. We will endeavour to assist you.
Children will not be allowed to accompany you into the treatment rooms during your treatment.
72-hour cancellation notice is required to avoid being charged for your session 48-hour cancellation notice is subject to a cancellation fee amounting 50% to the cost of the scheduled service 24-hour cancellation notice is subject to a cancellation fee amounting to the cost of the scheduled service.
Late arrivals will be charged the full price for the proposed treatment, If you are late for your treatment, it will be shorter, as the end time remains the same.
Taya Amber clinic endeavours to ensure that your appointment runs on time; however, from time to time this may not happen due to constraints beyond our control and we therefore reserve the right to cancel or postpone your appointment at short notice.
Credit Card Details, Payments and Deposits
A deposit of £50 will be charged to your credit or debit card at the time of booking, in order to secure the appointment.
The deposit will go towards the cost of the treatment or consultation on the day of your appointment.
Gift Vouchers- are non-refundable and are valid for 6 months from the purchase date. Vouchers cannot be redeemed for cash, sold or transferred. Gift vouchers presented after their expiry date will be treated as void and are non-exchangeable and non-refundable.
Taya Amber Clinic does not offer refunds for any completed services nor for any discounted treatments. However, if you are in any way dissatisfied with any aspect of your experience, please contact us. We will try our utmost to resolve any problems.
All prices are inclusive of VAT (where applicable) at the current rates and are correct at the time of entering the information onto our system. A booking is only finalised upon receipt of a deposit.
The clinic accepts cash, or major debit and credit cards.
