How often
Every week/once a month depends on the treatment. The number of treatments necessary varies from person to person.
What to expect
Minimised pigmentation and age spots. The appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Plumping. are reduced. A naturally youthful appearance. Smooth and clear skin complexion. Acne can be effectively treated. After the treatment, the skin may be slightly red, and the pigment marks will darken, the area may feel warm for a few hours, swelling/ can include a small blister- all these side effects may last 6-48 hours.
Contra indication
Active or unstable medical condition, autoimmune disease, epilepsy, cancer, diabetes, deep or medium, depth chemical peels, retinol, severe rosacea or acne, hyper-pigmentation tendencies, pregnancy, breast-feeding, recent facial steroid injection, microdermabrasion, surgical procedure, skin infection, chemical peel, metal implants.
Indications
Sun damage, vascular lesions, freckles, pigmentation removal, age spots, broken capillaries, large port wine stains, acne scarring, rosacea, dull skin.
Aftercare advice
Avoid sun exposure for 4-6 weeks after the treatment; use SPF 30 with zinc oxide and titanium dioxide at all times; use a gentle/soothing cleanser with warm water, twice a day; follow skin routine as it advised by your specialist; drink a lot of water; do not scratch or pick the skin during recovery; do not take a hot bath/hot shower for at least 48 hours; keep the skin moisturised at all times; make-up can be worn 24 – 48 hours after treatment; avoid skincare products that contain benzoyl peroxide, retin-A, retinol, or glycolic acids.
