Dry brushing is best carried out before a shower or bath to leave skin healthy and glowing.
HOW TO USE
First, start with sections that are the furthest away from the heart: arms, legs and lower back. Then, slowly massage towards the heart. Ensure you brush lightly with slow and even strokes.
You can start with the front and back of the right or left foot and work your way towards the lower thigh. Brush from the lower leg to the thigh and then brush on to the buttocks. Ensure you do both legs. Use the same method for the arms: start with the right or left hand to the forearm, then from the lower to the upper arm. With the stomach area, it is essential to follow the 'colon rule' to avoid blockage. The 'colon rule': Start with the bottom right side of the abdomen and brush upwards in small strokes until you approach the ribs. From there, brush horizontally to the left and continue down from there. It is vital you brush clockwise.
